As our apple unit comes to an end this week, we read the book "Ten Apples Up On Top" by Dr. Seuss. Surely it was a hit in our class as the kids helped me read the book by predicting the rhyming words that came next. To conclude the story, we created a math-infused art project where the kiddos drew a detailed self-portrait of themselves, painted ten apples, cut them out and glued them on top of their heads. Take a look at the wonderful, hard work your kids put into their projects!!
